What should you do if your horse throws a shoe? My farrier won't be able to make it until early next week.

Whenever my thoroughbred with super sensitive feet pulls a shoe I pack his foot with poultice, vet wrap/duct tape it and he's good until the farrier comes.
don't ride
my TB often throws shoes (thin walls) and ferrier has told me many times, don't worry about pulling the other shoes! But if your worried about stone bruising if your horse is sensitive agreed with above comment either a boot, or stall :)
Pull the other one off carefully..
Or you can pull the other one off if you can't get a farrier to come out for a while
I'd pack the hoof and put an easyboot on or if you want it done straight away I'd look for a good farrier in your area.
