Boots are there to protect the tendons.
Boots, they stop the horses legs from rubbing together and give more protection
Boots mainly ones with neoprene. Plus bandages can be tied to tight or incorrectly, although they are cheaper. The bandages are okay if you know how to tie them correctly and not affect the horse in an insignificant way.
Boots! And really just easy and thicker and covers more!

Be careful of using bandages in hot weather as they can cause the tendons to overheat...
Either way, they're great. If you're doing high intensity workouts like jumping or cross country, I'd definitely suggest boots. But dressage, simple flatwork stick to bandages 😇
