ASK Destrier : Is there a good way to tell if a horse has a mineral deficiency (I’m thinking of magnesium)? If so, what should I do for it?

Hello Elisabeth,

The most accurate method to identify nutritional deficiencies is the blood test.
In a simpler way and in advance, it is also recommended to make sure that nutritional intakes cover all your horses needs.

Have a great day,
