Oooooh you mean't like in spring time... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I really should learn how to read but if u wondering how to keep the coat sleek then now you got the tip for that 😆
Many ppl I know start blanketing their horses really early in autumn (>10°C) to keep the coat short. Depending on the weather the blanket can be quite heavy from the start like 250g to 300g and with a neck piece. The blankets are kept both in and out. (You can have lighter stable sheet)I think its kinda a European thing since I haven't seen anyone from the US/CA talking about this method anywhere 😆😆
Yes the Slick N Easy shedding block! Or just a regular shedding block but that's my favourite. You can find it at most tack stores. Lots of grooming, use a curry comb and a shedding blade.
Lots of brushing and a shedding blade!
@agilequines oh ok aha well it's spring going into Summer in Australia haha
On horse.com it's called Slick N Easy Grooming Block.
it's just now becoming winter here so they are keeping it until spring. i just brush
Curry comb and a lot of elbow grease!
@paigetaylor02 thank you 😇 Where did you get your shedding block? And I've checked out the strip hair before, way overpriced for what it is
I usually use a shedding block and it worked wonders on the horses that were shedding in spring (it's blade less). There's also one online called the Strip Hair but I think it's a bit pricey but it's blade less as well.
