I'm going to be leasing a horse soon. Any tips or anything that I should know before? (I already know the general health knowledge and all that)

Susan Gloade thank you! Also everyone thanks for the advice
Make sure you have a lease contract that spells out what both sides expect out of the lease and all the terms. Find out if what you have to
provide, like insurance and any tack. Find out who is responsible for what.

Also, make sure you have enough money put aside to pay for vet bills and farrier costs. Horses have a way of knowing when you’re broke and injuring themselves when you can least afford it haha!
Have you gone out and tried it
You should know in which direction you want to train your horse and which goals you have
