Make sure you have a lease contract that spells out what both sides expect out of the lease and all the terms. Find out if what you have to
provide, like insurance and any tack. Find out who is responsible for what.
Also, make sure you have enough money put aside to pay for vet bills and farrier costs. Horses have a way of knowing when you’re broke and injuring themselves when you can least afford it haha!
