I need to strengthen my lower leg(mid thigh to calf). What are some excercises I can do on horseback and off horses?

I had the same problem but then downloaded an app with different work outs on it and chose the leg work out and that helped alot.
Yes get Someone to lunge you. Do some no styrrup work on the lunge and some work In lightseat/3 point position with styrrups 😄
I would say bareback riding on the horse really helpsstrengthen you leg muscles and the i dont know anything fancy but squats and lunges does also work your muscles
