To tail bag or not to tail bag? Everyone at my new barn has their horses' tails braided and bagged. Curious if I should do the same? I've only ever used a tailbag for shows before.

If your horse has a thin short tail I would bag to help it grow out but if your horse has a long thick tail I wouldn’t unless your protecting it for shows. Just remember if there are flys out to make sure they still have a way to swat flys🙂
I don't use a tail bag apart from a show/event. If you horses tail is really light (like white) it does help keep it clean and make it easier to wash before a show apart.
