Tips on keeping better balance while riding bareback?

Practice practice practice! LOL
Try no stirrup work in the saddle first the move to bareback. Just don’t balance off of the horses mouth/face.
Sit back and hold the main if you need to and just imagine there is a saddle there to help xx
Hold on to a fistful of mane for extra support and keep a good posture xx
Don’t panic and squeeze, try move with the horse
Focus on the rythem of your horse and keep your back muscles not to tight. You will eventually get use to your horse specific strides. And when u know the rhythm the rest is just strengthing your legs to hold on better for cantering or jumping or just posture. Just learn to get to know your horse's strides.
