Opinions on whether to give the horse the/a day off after being shod before being ridden again?

It really depends on the horse. I have one that I like to give a day off after shoeing just because he is a little sensitive or touchy. But the day after he's entirely back to normal. I then have others that I work with a couple hours after.

Lunge your horse around a bit after a few hours after the service, if they are starting to get a bit sensitive I would leave it be for another day.
They can sometimes be a bit foot sensitive afterwards. Depends on the horse
I ride right after my horse is shod
My horse gets ridden before getting shod to save time but I ride the day after to, you can ride after they have been done
My horses are barefoot but yes it’s fine to ride after being shod
I personally don’t, I would ride straight after my horse had been shod
