Try to add some new excersizes into your rides. When your pony understands something reward them and move on so that they do not get bored
Circles, circles and more circles basically just do different types of circles everywhere in the school varying in size each time it’s great for having to use your legs aswell to get them riding on the circle correctly
There are endless things to train your pony but the most important thing is to make sure you aren't in the arena more than 4 days a week, teach a little bit of everything,dressage,grid/poles,hacking ou over hills, farms, beaches, trips to different arenas ect. The most common problem for boredom is being in the same place all the time because the horse starts to feel like it isn't getting anything out of the experience and misbehaviours can arise.be sure to keep the pony on its toes and don't allow it to plod or distract itself as that is another gateway to boredom,as soon as you feel the pony isn't 100% I tune to you do something to wake it up like change direction, alter your pace with a half halt or ask for more impulsionhope this helps:) ect
Teach them to move their hind quarters over and then move their shoulders over when asked, this can then move into doing shoulder ins etc. Great to change it up while schooling etc
Trotting poles. Trotting pole circles. Outrides
