Scientists have developed a new test to detect more than 90% of the chromosomal abnormalities in horses based on a simple blood and hair DNA sample. Are chromosomal abnormalities a big thing for breeding in general?

Yes, because I believe they can make some kind of mutation before the foal is born, or later on in life. You really have to be careful in the breeding. Pick the right mare or stud.
I like the idea too! thanks Alexis :)
I believe so, i like the idea of it. Then you can eliminate certain negative strains and their chromosomal pattern before they are born.
