I ride a horse who gets excited and pig roots after jumps about 80cm and taller. Any tips on how to stop him doing this?

Maybe lean a little bit more back after the jump as you might be leaning to farfoward and he's getting irritated, and maybe pull the inside rein as they have trouble pugtootung with a bent neck, I hope this helps
^Yeah stopping after jumps might work
Maybe try doing a short/small grid and then making him stop after the jump instead of running off, make him stop and calm down.....do singular jumps and grids instead of courses so he doesnt get hot and excited and then start going around a course....
Hope this helps 🐴🌺
