My horse needs her legs bandaged for jumping. Should I put a leg pad underneath the bandage or something else that would prevent that much heat to the tendon?

I think it is down to personal preference, I have seen gran prix riders bandaging with and without wraps. I personally prefer using wraps if I bandage to prevent pressure points and overtightening. During winter months I also trim my horse's legs. I have found that it reduces heat build up dramatically. :) Hope it helps
