Hello Rikkie, I’ve suffered the same thing and still do bit at times. Two things that have helped me are the book Inside Your Ride by Equesrtrisn Tanya ajohnston; and meditation. Meditation was hard for me at first but once I got it I was able to control my fear and anxiety and use it in a positive way when I ride. I hope this helps.
