Thoughts on riding without a Bareback pad?

There's really no point getting a bareback pad unless your horse is quite bony and it also depends how much your gonna use it
Never use mine. My horse doesn’t like the way it tightens so we go without it
My horses spine sticks out on his back so it gets alittle uncomfortable so I just use a no-slip pad and it works fine
I used a Bareback pad and no bareback pad before so I don't see much difference it all depends on your horse and your build you what is better for u and your horse
I've never owned a bareback pad, but I've heard they can slip somewhat easily, so I never bought one. I've never had a problem riding bareback. Well, except my old TB. His withers were WAYYY too tall to ride him bareback lol.
Thanks I just wanted to make sure it’s ok before I did it😃
I personally do it because I don’t have a bareback pad. If you’re concerned, just use your saddle and half pad!
