I agree with the advice above. It depends on aloy of factors.. Horse, discipline, intensity of sport, heat and recovery. I use it in polocrosse to aid recovery and to maintain focus. A good blood tonic can be as good as intravenous, but will take a while to build up in the system. Consult your vet and make sure it's not banned in your sport.
