You can use working gloves and a bucket it will be easier + you don't get dirty and it's quicker😊

Make a plan for yourself. I always slide all the clean 'old' straw under the feeding tray, then take out the poop and wet straw. Spread the clean 'old' straw and put fresh straw on top of it. When a horse always poops in one spot such as in the back or in a corner, I try to make a 'gutter' without bedding there. Makes it easier to clean!
Don't spend ages sifting through the bedding. Take out all the poo and wee. The cleaner the bed the easier it is to muck out :)
