Recently, earphones and other electronic communication devices have been prohibited by the FEI for competitors and grooms when mounted at all times. Do you really think that everyone will effectively comply to the rule?

People should go without music while they ride anyways, ESP at a show if they want to ride their best. Focusing on the horse is key .. Surprised it took this long to be a rule ..
Unfortunately I think if you place your hair net just right and put in a set of air pods you could get away with it...
I do think that in dressage the riders will folow the rule. In showjumping not so much.
I agree with Iva-mari Miskulin. You totally loose where you are in life, full attention to your horse is key.
I think there are some benefits but disaventages too. A lot of riders use earphones to warm up with music, and I think it’s kind of really cool...
It is a logical rule but I saw at Qatar Longines, they dont obey it until the judges warn them
Might be a bit tricky, as earphones are normally used with the coaches when they help a competitor warm up so you don't have a million people shouting into the arena trying to be heard by their clients from the side
Yes it’s good - like don’t text and drive but now don’t text and ride
I think it is a good rule!
Good rule
