Definitely not. The tightening of times and toughness increasing on courses forces riders to practice and become better. Riding must evolve and shows and new standards to jump—get my pun—are one of the best ways to advance a sport. If you can’t handle the tighter times, work on getting better at it.

The breeding has evolved to produce adapted horses and the riders are more and more better prepared for training them.
