We used to scrub feet out with mild disinfectant, then a 50/50 mix of iodine and eucalyptus oil. Once you’ve got ride of the thrush, paint feet inside and out ever day to keep them strong and healthy!
Regularly spray her frogs with Iodine Solution.
Thrush is a fungal infection, so an anti-fungal product should be used as a preventative. Anti-Bac, formulated by Cecil Swan, is both an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal hoof dressing that can be applied to the hoof every day. It works well and is cheaper than Thrush Buster. If your horse develops thrush, Thrush Buster will get rid of it. Basically, Anti-Bac prevents thrush in the first place, and Thrush Buster treats it.
Huuf magic 👌💯👌
Thrush buster, when it got really muddy the thouroughbred I brought along used to get it and become unsound so i started using thrush buster and the problem was fixed!
Yes I was gonna write, I treat any horse that has thrush with thrush buster, but the box was too small.
I've only ever used it to treat thrush, but can you use it as a preventative?
Thrush buster is great....it’s like koppertox but purple.
