i would first lease, i have been riding for 4 years and i’m not even leasing and i’ve learned a lot
I agree with the fact that you shouldn’t even lease, 8 months are too few! I rode for 7 years on school horses, and I’ve learned a lot
I would do a first lease but not by a horse until you are more experienced
Yes definatly, my first horse is a free lease and it is a lot easier than having to buy them
I can’t move barns it’s not like that where I live there isn’t a lot of barns with trainers and their own horses but I understand what you mean thank you 😊 I will be looking for a lease in the next few weeks 😁
Also, if the trainer and horses don't teach you anything, you could just move to a new barn. If the trainer doesn't teach you anything, then a new horse won't help. And more than likely with you only have ridden for 8 months, I don't think you're ready to not have a trainer
Yes. I have been riding for 3 years and I've leased two horses. I don't have my own yet. Lease horses teach you a lot
Yes because if you lease you don't have the commitment as you would to buying a horse just in case you don't like the care giving or vet bills even farrier bills and just in general get tired of caring for the horse, lease first then if you think you can handle a permanent horse go for it!
In all cases, yes. Definitely lease before you buy a horse. In your case though, I’d say maybe ride a little more before you lease
I wouldn’t buy but maybe lease or even start looking at a new barn.
If it’s a good solid lesson horse, I would definitely lease! But don’t buy a horse yet.
You should not lease yet. If you have only been riding for 8 months wait. Also it depends on your level.
