Anyone start riding as a teenager+ and what level and age are you now?
I started when I was 13 and I’m now 15. I jump regularly and I jumped about 3ft for a Grid Night, but I didn’t know until that night that I would do that high! My trainer raised the jumps for me and seven other riders and coached us over them. I asked her if I would be fine so I did it. It was fun, but I have a lot to work on 😂
I got my first pony when i was 9 but properly started riding about 1 1/2 years ago now 13. I’m jumping around 1.05m-1.10m
I started lessons when I was 14, about a year and a half ago, and I am starting to jump about one foot crossrails
I started horse camp over the summers when I was 5. I didn't start lessons until I was 11. Im 13 now and jumping 2 foot crossrails and 1 ft verticals
I didn't start until I was 13 and I bought my first horse at 15. I'm 24 now and I've competed to 1* eventing and 1m20 showjumping. I found I adored working with youngsters so I have focused on producing them the last couple of years. I would like to eventually keep one of them to compete up to a higher level but at the moment I'm happy with what I'm doing.
