Focus on pushing your heels down. This will cause your lower leg to move forward a bit :) hope this helps
And you can do a lot of no stirrup work to strength your legs

Everytime before jumping have a few circles in trot and canter standing up in your stirrups. It will help u get most of your weight down your heels and place your leg in the right position
