Ok thanks Hun. Think I’m gonna have to buy another rug then lol. She’s not to chunky at the moment and got a bib clip and she’s still growing. But I think she needs a slightly heavier one. She’s warm under the 150 but not overly warm.

Usually shires have a thicker layer of fat and great coat which is a good support to them. However if you clipped her, she might need a thick rug on at this time of the year. It is hard to tell what weight of rug is enough for her. Try different thickness and see what she's like in the morning. Put your hand underneath it and see if she's basically cool, warm or maybe a bit hot. Try to get her just warm. Sometimes its better to put two not too thick rugs over night and in the morning take one of them off.
