I broke mine in June and stared riding in September against medical advice. I use a Back on Track lower back brace. Definitely go through physical therapy if you can. Goodluck!
I'd go gym and get a personal trainer to help and strengthen my back before I ride because going back in to work after such an accident with weak back muscle might cause and lead to different problems and injuries
One of my friends hurt her back a while ago, and is just getting into riding again. Not the same lol but close. She started with short lessons, stopping if anything hurt. Gradually if things hurt she’d adjust what she was doing to see if it would change that. She’s back in hour long group lessons now. I suppose just take your time and don’t over extend yourself- it’s not going to be perfect the first time! Take care of yourself, go slow, see a physical therapist is you can is what I’d recommend.
