Thoughts on front jumping boots? Do you use them at all and why/why not? I personally don't as have read quite a bit on them pinching

I don’t use them but I would like to on my pony, I would just get simple open front boots with Velcro though
I use them all the time. My everyday are valenas for back and fronts, but I do have equilibrium exercise bandages I use up front sometimes.

I second that boots that fit won’t pinch.
When they fit correctly, they shouldn't pinch at all. They help protect your horse if he rubs/knocks his feet together, and can help prevent injury, especially in older horses
You don’t need them unless your horse tends to ‘rub’/ ‘knock’ their feet together. They don’t usually pinch if they fit correctly, and also they help when your horse tends to over step and when their back hooves hit their front legs, and when knocking poles (depending on the type of boots ofcourse)
