I’ve been showriding for over 7 years now and have always used a black girth with a show saddle. I recently purchased a white girth and I was wondering if it would go against me?

For dressage and showjumping it doesn't matter but it could influence your tack & turnout mark in a showing class if your tack doesn't match the class's standards for the desired colours. Generally they prefer neutral colours like brown or tan as the white might be thought of as 'distracting' by the judge but I would recommend you check the guidelines as they vary from class to class (show hunter, pleasure horse, etc )
Well it depends if you are doing western or English kinda! But the girth with wool or white things is good for their stomach cause it gives them nice relief!
