Should I use stable boots at night for my horse that is getting a bit older (16yrs and competing at 1,20 meter)?

If the legs are filling over night then it may be necessary. If not then I would hold off as long as possible.
@sydneymondorf thank you. Can you recommend a brand a place to buy the compression socks please, they sound good.
I would only wrap his legs every night at shows. For everyday use they have developed compression socks that zip on and can safely be used everyday.
I personally would, my old horse was 17 and competing he had stable boots on every night when he was being stabled
Make sure they are not too tight or they can cut off the circulation in his feet . + you have to start thinking about retiring him from jumping so high because it’s not good for his legs
