Depends on how strong your horse is and how sensitive personally yes 😊

Hollow bits are normally thicker which means it has more surface area so it spreads the pressure out more evenly it’s also lighter so better for the horse with a softer mouth. Full bits are normally thinner therefore less surface arena so the pain is focused on one point, it is also heavier which makes it better for the harder mouthed horses.
