What are some signs of ulcers in your horse and also what is treatment for them?
Thank you!
There's a huge amount of symptoms for ulcers, including (but not limited to): biting at stomach, teeth grinding, mood swings, sensitivity around stomach, bucking under saddle, weight loss, not wanted to be tacked up, not eating, no energy... a horse could have all these symptoms, or none of them. The only way to tell for sure is if they are scoped by a vet.

Typical treatments is removing the cause of stress, unrestricted forage, cutting back on concentrates or if they're bad enough, a vet can prescribe drugs such as omeprezole
