Do you think it’s bad luck to change a horses registered name?

Do you think it’s bad luck to change a horses registered name?
It is difficult to get a register name changed but it defiantly isn't bad luck in my opinion. Horses grow into the names they are given.
Yes it is
I agree with Catriona, it’s like trying to get a new custom license plate for a vehicle. I am superstitious, but have been okay with name changing
I think you have to pay a fee to change the name. Nobody even looks at it. I don't see the point in it, but if you really want to then go for it. Has your horse showed yet? How did it do?
@mckeownaila but what happens if the horse was registered name was ‘no name’ cause it literally has no name. Then would you think it’s okay?
I'd change a stable name but not a registered name. Not because of superstition, but because I don't see the point of going through the hassle for something that's not used on a constant basis.
There is no point in changing a horses registered name.
Yes yes and yes!
I don't think it's bad luck at all! the only difficulty is trying to find a name that isn't already being used that's why I think registered names keep getting longer. If you want to change it there is no guarantee that you'll get what you want to change it too.
