If you had to sell your horse (for example your pony when you can't compete in pony sections anymore), would you rather sell him to someone living close to you or far away (like in a foreign country)?

It would be great to have him nearby, but in the end, I’d want him to go to a good home where he will be looked after well wether that be down the street or in a far off country
I am looking for a lease horse near by I do short stirrup hunters I would like to now where you live because I am interested
I would personally sell to a stable that is close by.
I’d prefer having them close by. It’s easier to keep in contact with the owner and if they ever need to go away or something you might be able to take care of him/her. You can also visit sometimes if they’re close by!
I’d say either one which ever one that loves your pony more should deserve him/her but make sure you stay in touch with the new owner.
I’d like to sell them close, so I can stay in contact with the owner, and easily be able to see the horse if something happens, which you wouldn’t be able to do in a foreign country.
I would like to sell them close, just so I could see their progress but if they really find an amazing home abroad I might consider it , as long as I would get to stay in touch with the new owner :)
