It’s mostly about a favourable overall impression. Of course the selection panel is always happy to see exceptional jumping ability. So for example a horse with super potential for top level sports minor deficiencies in terms of rideability might be acceptable. On the other hand, significant health deficiencies are a definite no-go and not acceptable for an auction.
