I am going on a hack around a forest with my pony and it’s her first time in the forest, I’m a little nervous because she can be hard to hack sometimes, have you got any advice?

I would go in a group and stick around the middle so she feels safe but can’t turn around and run. Also make sure you have a phone on you if you decide to ride alone. I totally agree with Juliette and think that you should lunge your horse before you get on and just stick to walking on the trails!
Hope this helps!
No problem!
@juliettelorbert thank you so much ! :)
Ask someone with a calm and relaxed horse to come with you and work or lunge your horse before. And ride the first times only walk, no trot or canter! And try to keep calm no matter what she does, I know it can be hard sometimes. Good luck and have fun!
