These are totally different systems! England is a smaller territory and there are more shows. So it’s easier to take horses out and to make them improve because you can show regularly. It’s kind of like Normandy for showjumping! For example, if the horse is not good, you can slow down or stop the course and compete again the next week without having to make your horse deal with a long travel. Shows are gathered during a more compact periode, which allow to bring more horses. All this system enable high level stables to be better filled.
In France, there are just few events and they are far from us, so we have to take advandage of it when we compete.
