How can I build strength in my calves?

2 point at a walk, trot and canter. Hold the position as long as possible in each gate. Eventually building up to being able to hold the position in all 3 gates up to an hour ride.
Running or going for a jog also helps !
Heel raises are the first that come to mind, as they are easy to do and can be done at any time throughout the day!
