It usually depends what I am working on with the horse. If the horse I am riding gets sweaty really easily probably 85+. But, if I am doing simple ground work then the maximum temperature will be higher. Thanks!
I usually ride in the mornings around five so it’s not hot but if I do ride in the afternoon, I try to just take it easy and if I get hot, my horse probably is too, so that’s how I know it’s time to quit
My work has a rule that if it’s 85, we take it easy. If it’s 95+ then there’s no riding. Mind you, I live in San Diego with little to no humidity so depending on where you are will dictate that temperature.
