Ask @dominiqueboeuf : What was the transition from being a jockey to being a show jumper like?

Hello Abby,

It's a lot of struggle! Jumping is the exact opposite of racing. In races, we try to 'flatten' the horse and the withers, and in jumping you have to build your horse's topline, for example.

During a race, we practically don't use our legs nor our hands, whereas you have to have your show horse between your legs and your hands.

So, we train!
