What is the reason behind the front hooves touching each other in the walk, and resulting in hearing a sound of clicking or cracking when the horse overreach? It happens only in front!

Hey!

Horses can overreach in walk (some times in trot and canter too) this means the hoof from behind touches the front hoof! It's normal for this to happen, if they get hurt just put some bell boots and it's fine!

If your horse takes his shoes off often because of this, ask your farrier to suit the shoes!

Hope it helps
You mean the farier fault ?
Confirmation fault :)
