Do you have bit recommendations for a strong horse while jumping?
Try a egg but cork screw single joint bit they work good
Egg butt cork screw single jointed , strong in the wrong hands
My young horse grabs the bit! We have him in a short shank Pelham with a rubber straight bar inside which prevents grabbing. It’s working wonders so far! Keep us updated!
He tends to take the bit and stop listening, currently trying a pessoa with a curbstrap which seems okay, next I’ll definitely try a pelham!
You can also try a Pelham. But it really just depends on how strong they are and what kind of strong. Like does your horse grab the bit and not listen, or head heavy? Or doesn’t respond sharp enough? Sometimes a simple bit like a Dutch gag with a strap on the back can be strong enough! And on the inside maybe you can try a 3 piece, or a Waterford which can be strong, or inside the mouth you can try a straight bar rubber
A running gag might be a good option!
Hey!
Try a pelham, with two reins, if it doesn't work a snaffle and a curb might be the solution
Hope it helps
I’ve already tried a twisted snaffle and a myler combination bit (hackamore+bit), none of them seem to work anymore
