Practice! Practice! Practice! Do work at home! Some of my favorite things to do are 20 meter circles, spiraling in on a circle with just my legs then spiraling back out with just my legs, **practice the test at home with a trainer**, do as much as you can to prepare yourself and your horse for the test and the specific requirements of the test(s) you’re doing. Confidence and practice are a major aspect of dressage. If you don’t practice, you won’t believe in yourself once you get in the ‘sandbox’ as they say. If you don’t believe in yourself, you won’t score well. If you practice your test, you’ll know you’re good at it. If you feel good, you’ll do better. It works!!
