The thing about Hunter riders with jumper horses is that they don't know to lean back and sit deep towards the jump and shorten reins immediately after to get the horse back after the jump. They are taught to lean forward and don't know what to do when stuff actually happens. ( this was me cause I was initially trained as a hunter / eq rider and I couldn't really properly sit a canter. You don't have to go to crazy heights to be a jumper. They just have different rules and everything not everything is about height in jumpers. If you aren't comfortable jumping high u can always go lower.
