Hi Jillian,
I've been in love with horses since I was so young, I wanted to become a vet but I was scared of blood so that stopped me. I joined a pony club to help out and soon enough I've formed a strong bond with ponies, horses and even the place. I like everything horse-related, grooming, riding,... it brings me so much joy. I hope you will soon find working with horses magnificent ✨

Hello!
I didn’t know I wanted to work in the horse industry until I actually started working. Horses have been a huge part of my life but originally never thought of making it a career. One day I got offered a job as a groom/junior trainer and I really felt like this is what I want to do! There are many people that want to work in the industry but it is a tough career choice as horses need 24/7 care. I’d recommend finding a job as a groom or stable hand to start with because if you can’t take the hard labour work the horse industry most likely isn’t for you! You ask need to not only be horse savey but extremely sociable and an people person because at one end of a lead rope is a horse and the other it’s owner.
