When you face a stressful period at work/school, do you change your routine with horses (ride less, or more, change the way you work your horse...)?
Yes of course i do. when i’m going through my exam period i tend to ride less and lunge more as it takes less time to do and gives me more time to study. other than that i use riding as therapy for stressful times
When I am facing a stressful period, I make a lot of efforts to make sure not to pass on my stress to my horses. I feel that it wouldn't be fair to them. Like Logan Marie said, if I feel angry or very stressed out, I don't even ride, I just spend some time with them, in order to actually relax and spend an enjoyable time for me and for them.
Ya it depends on what is stressing my thoughts
Depends on what's stressing me. If I am angry I don't ride because I will ride angry and that's not fair to my horse. I will lunge though or just brush her really good and vent Haha.
Unfortunately yes. I try to go every day for at least an hour. Sometimes though I won’t be able to make it at all, but if I don’t have time to ride (only 20 minutes at the barn for example) I will just give my mare a little spa day!
Hello Melinda

Just like Charleigh sometimes I don't have time to ride so I just spend time with my mare, groom her and that's it!
Ya. I wish I didn’t have to but I usually just go and spend time with my horse if I don’t have time to ride or I hop on bareback
