I talk to my horse and no one else except my trainer about 15 mins before
I don’t know if I’d call it a routine but prior to competing I like to try and keep things as normal as possible, which for me means just hanging around the horses with my groom, helping where I can, listening to some music that I like, and having a bit of a laugh! I think this is when I’m able to perform best as I don’t let any nerves creep in.
Everyone is different though and it’s about finding what works for you ☺️
