To enter schooling show Thoroughbred only classes, do you need to show paperwork to enter the classes?

Just contact the show organizer and find out for sure what is required.

From my experience, if your horse has a tattoo that is proof enough, even for rated shows.
Usually you need to register the horse for a TIP (thoroughbred incentive program) number through the jockey club But it will depend on the show and it’s best to check with the show organizers.
