I work nights and weekends. The only days I can show are Sundays or during the week, so I miss out on a lot of great shows. I leave work at 4am on Sundays, go home, get changed and head to the barn and get ready for competition. I compete without sleep and being on my feet for 10+ hours... but it’s the only
Way I can do what I love! The adrenaline wakes me up and keeps me alert and focused! I get up to the barn twice a week if I am lucky.... but it’s better than zero times a week! Just have to make time for what you love most, and not feel guilty for not being able to do it 5+ times a week !
I am a wellness advocate with essential oils and educate people on use for themselves as well as their horses and other animals. My other passion after riding and teaching.
I train on the side for a few people a year! I also buy used instead of new. That honestly helps a lot more than you would think!
Side gig!
I work off a little over half my cost of board doing stalls on top of my job which is at a tack shop. The discount helps me afford stuff for my horse.
