I’ve found my perfect horse, I’m worried I’m too big for him (although he rides big) I’m 58kgs, 172cm tall and he’s a bit bigger than 16 (almost 16.1), am I too big?

Don't worry! You're fine :)
Really depends on the horse type and its back. Arabs are great weight carriers because of their confirmation short back. But a 16h horse with your height sounds perfect
Not at all! Sounds like a perfect match to me :)
I don't think so, it also depends on the construction of your horse. But i think he will be perfect for you!
No way! That is the perfect size for you. I wouldn’t worry.
You’ll be perfectly fine 😄
No not at all, I’m 176cm and 75kg riding a chunky 15.2hh thoroughbred gelding
Thanks so much everyone! ❤️
No your good!
Should be fine. I'm 5'6" and ride my 14.2 Arab mare. Before that, I rode my 16 hh Standardbred.
You’re fine! I am 178 pounds, 5’7 and have a big boned 16H OTTB
No! You’re fine!
I think you will be fine!
Sounds like a great fit!! I am 185cm and my horses have ranged from 16-17.1
A horse can safely carry 20% of his body weight. I think you would be fine.
Not to big I would say that size of a horse could very easily carry more weight
No bigger horses aren’t always better!
No I’m 5’6 and ride a 6.1hand draft
I don't think so at all! I'm 5'6 and weigh 145lbs and my mare is 15.1hh. 16hh is a great height for any size of rider in my opinion.
I believe it is a great fit
