Do you have any tips for a beginner dressage rider?
Keep at it, Frame and Laterals and all that stuff can be quite a brain-fry don’t get discouraged
Make sure that your horse doesnt go BTV and or goes into an improper frame! That's a big one I see with lots of dressage riders. And an instructor would really help! Make sure you feel comfortable enough to discuss things with your instructor that you dont agree on. I know quite a few riders who are intimidated by their instructor which isnt a good relationship to have I dont think.
Give yourself time to get used to the movement and how to tell the horse how to do it, stay focus and never give up even after a tough session 😊
Hi 🙂

I think the most important is to find a good instructor, get the basics right so the horse is going forward and straight in his body before you start on the movements!
