I have to walk the small ponies up to the area and there is grass on the sides, they always stop and eat it, takes a minute to get them to walk, the path is narrow. Do you have any tips?

Try to keep them paying attention to you at all times. Every 10 feet or so stop and back up a few steps, do groundwork with them on the path to keep their attention on you. This will also let them know that they can’t look away or stop and eat grass, but that they have to listen to you. Lastly ALWAYS pay attention to the horse. There will almost 100% of the time be a “warning” sign that they are about to do something. Most likely they will eye the grass a few times and their ears will probably perk up before they go. As soon as you see their focus change, change up what you are doing and get their attention on you.

Hope this helps. Good luck with the ponies!!
